The Director of Lardner Associates, Tim Lardner, has unmatched experience and understanding of the mine action and high risk ERW environment. He has worked with the majority of organisations in the sector and is well respected by key stakeholders.
After a number of years building and managing operational mine clearance programmes in Mozambique and Cambodia, he became half of the team that established Cranfield Mine Action, a ground-breaking initiative designed to deliver high quality management training to national staff from United Nations Mine Action programmes. This successful programme went on to train hundreds of national staff and resulted in more effective delivery of mine action. Followed by a period of time at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining, he initiated and led the ground-breaking work in risk management and land release, and became one of the most sought after advisors in this area.
His experience is bolstered by a strong backing team able to offer rapid response, well thought through solutions and to oversee implementation and ultimate resolution of problems.
