Project technical evaluation
We have provided a number of governments and individual organisations with targeted and detailed evaluations of their programmes. A clear outside perspective and an analytical approach to increasing efficiency and effectiveness is often enough to focus teams and approaches. Formal evaluations have been undertaken in Mozambique, Cambodia, Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan and Jordan and more rapid, ad hoc assessments have been undertaken much more widely.

Having been involved in the very early days of formal management training within the mine action industry, and more recently with the development and delivery of training in risk management for ERW risk mitigation, we believe that our breadth and depth of knowledge will be able to benefit clients who are looking for tailor made solutions to their problems.
Strategic planning and risk modelling
A request to develop a risk management model of a UXO clearance operation by a client resulted in a model developed that had the potential to improve operational efficiency by up to 60% if the model were to be adopted, with no cost to the integrity or security of the operation. Often, such increases in efficiency can be made relatively simply.
